Creativity has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by music, singing and playing guitar and piano, and I was always finding some way to create. Eventually, photography became the creative outlet that stuck. I picked up my first camera as a teenager, photographed my first wedding at 18, and somehow that little hobby turned into a career I’ve now loved for more than a decade.

My faith and my family are at the center of who I am. Becoming a mom gave photography an entirely new meaning for me and made me even more aware of what a gift these ordinary, everyday seasons really are. Life moves quickly, our people grow and change, and the little moments we sometimes overlook are often the ones we end up wishing we could go back to.

Outside of photography, I’m usually dreaming up another project, organizing something, spending time with my family, heading to the lake, going out for really good food, drinking coffee, or watching The Office for probably the hundredth time. I’m an idea person through and through, and I love taking something I can picture in my head and bringing it to life.

That part of me carries into the way I photograph, too. I’m drawn to genuine connection, movement, belly laughs, tiny hands and all of those in between moments you don’t realize you’ll miss someday.

I want your photos to be beautiful, of course, but more than anything, I want them to feel like your life.
